Installing last version

Hi ,
I try to install a product from Ubuntu Software Center but it get me 2.5 version .
How can I install it from shell ? sudo apt-get install "packagename???"

Hi,

If that's what you want to install, then yes. See this wiki page for more details.

However, as that page mentions, you can instead get a package of the latest release: see also the repositories page.
