codelite 9.2 fails to exit in Linuxmint 18

It always ask "Save perspective and exit?" even if clicking the right top exit button immediately after launch, whatever choice(Save&exit or Exit without saving) is made, it doesn't exit. Please have a check, thank you!

Which flavour of Mint are you using? It works for me on Mint 18, both mate and cinnamon. I ticked the "Remember my answer..." checkbox when the dialog showed, and wasn't shown it on subsequent exits. Did you tick that box?

If it still fails, try temporarily renaming your ~/.codelite so you start with a clean configuration, and try again.

I use MATE and it's not a problem with that checkbox, if I start it in terminal command, it can exit normally, but if starting codelite by clicking its icon in LinuxMint menu, it can't exit. Maybe there're any extra arguments in the fault scenario?

I checked the launcher properties, if setting type to "Application in Terminal", it exits fine, otherwise the default "Application" type conducts the exit failure.

My 'Properties' dialog looks like this:

Yet my CodeLite behaves normally. Is your file different?

Where did you get your CodeLite from? Did you download it from our site, or build it yourself, or...?

I downloaded the installation file via http://repos.codelite.org/ubuntu-9.2/po ... _amd64.deb and double click to install.

Strange. I can't explain why it behaves differently here. If you discover the reason, please let us know!

Meanwhile, changing to "Application in Terminal" provides an easy workaround.

Got the root cause, codelite must be doing network operations at exiting, my LinuxMint is connected to LAN and need proxy for internet access, therefore it hangs when exiting. If I disconnect the network, it can exit normally.
