Why do not you use Bitcoin as payment for donations?
It is perfectly suited for donations, even for very small amounts.
Also, it costs nothing to install, just an address to show.
It's open source. It is possible to have a light Bitcoin wallet (like Electrum for example) or even online wallet. (I not recommend the official wallet, too heavy to install)

Simply because the hosting company and other services that I use don't accept Bitcoins, only $$
