Dear DavidGH,
I'm a new user in C++ and Codelite world. I decided to build Codelite 9.1.7 from source code for armv7l. Because of lack of arm report for CL (official Ubuntu repo has only 2.8.0), I would like to help sharing my arm build (compiled it on Lubuntu 14.04 with Tegra 2 armv7l) and let me know everything you need if you accept analysing my build.
Thanks in advance.
Kind Regard

Congratulations on your successful build. Out of interest, how easy was it to do?
Thank you for your offer, but there are two problems:
- 1) I have no way to test the build, so I'd be reluctant to host it in our repos.
2) More importantly, it's a build for 14.04, which has now been superseded as LTS by 16.04. We're unlikely to supply 14.04 binaries for future releases.
Furthermore 16.04 already has a CodeLite 9.1 official build, at least for arm64. Though I'm ignorant about all things arm, I imagine that most people will either use that, or use its source package to build their own 32 bit version.
Regards,
David

Re: [Q] Support for ARM build
Hi,
Building arm version was very simple, and I only followed the wiki to build it.
1) I understand your reluctance, without testing I wouldn't have proposed this I'll upload my build on GitHub and if you would and you wish, you could test it. Or on PPA but I should see how it works;
2) Feel free to value if this arm build is necessary for you and the community. I don't know if there is backward compatibility between 14.04 and 16.04;
I really thank you for your availability and your answer!
Have a nice day,
Domenico.
