Hot to change the "xterm" used from console apps

Using latest and previous versions of codelite, going into settings->preferences->terminal there is the option to enter the command to be used for launching consoles. While I change the command there, and keep uncheched the button "use codelite built in terminal emulator", codelite continues to execute "xterm".

What do I have to do ( besides renaming what I want to execute into "xterm" ) ?
