Multiple Editor Windows

My workstation has multiple monitors and I am wondering if it would be possible for CodeLite to allow multiple editors (Modeless editors). There could be a workspace bar on the side and a simpler tool bar that allows for saving the file. Any idea if the design would support this (or wxWidgets) and if so what kind of development effort would be needed.

As a side note I recently found CodeLite, and am wondering if you allow outside patches to be submitted?

The effort is huge, luckily, Scott (forum name: sdolim) is already working on this feature, and all the code refactoring needed for this feature were made, so I guess it wont be long now before this feature is available

Sure. You can search here on this forum and you will see some patches that were submitted and committed.
The vast number of patches people usually send directly to my email, however, if you wish to send patches, I suggest that you join the codelite-dev mailing list --> it is not active, but I think that it will be a great opertunity to make it alive
