Hi,
I am not sure what f3 is supposed to do (I vaguely remember it) ....
But it must have been removed in the find bar rewrite (not intentionally )
Can you please remind me what was it supposed to do? So I could restore it's functionality.

It's "Find word at caret" forward.
Ok I seem to found a solution. I usually use customized keyboard shortcuts. So I set them back to default, and re set them as I like them. And it now seems to be working. Interesting.
