Hi,
I am using Codelite 5.4 on Ubuntu 12.04 and it informs me there is a new version available. I looked for the new version on codelite.org and come to find out that there is no mention of repos for Ubuntu 12.04. How much of an effort would it take to build a version Codelite on Ubuntu 12.04? Have you received many requests to post an Ubuntu 12.04 repo?
Thanks
Codelite v6 on ubuntu 12.04

Did you check here?
http://codelite.org/LiteEditor/Repositories#toc1
You probably can also build the latest codelite 6.1 from sources (using codelite 5.4). I was able to do it under windows, likely will work under Ubuntu.
Not positive but also think there will be a bug fix release 'soon'

Re: Codelite v6 on ubuntu 12.04
Hi,
However each release's deb and rpm builds (CodeLite and wxCrafter) takes me all day. There must be some limit to the number of old releases we support and, for ubuntu, the latest 2 or 3 plus the current LTM version seems reasonable.
If instead you mean for you to build. it's easy (easier than for Windows). See these instructions. If you want to build the 6.0 release you can download the tarball instead of installing the latest version from git.
Regards,
David
No, afaik yours is the first.Have you received many requests to post an Ubuntu 12.04 repo?
If you mean for me to build, test and upload two 12.04 debs (32 and 64 bit), the answer is not that much: about an hour. How much of an effort would it take to build a version Codelite on Ubuntu 12.04?
