Hi,
CodeLite is portable on Windows.

to make your self a portable copy you can do the following:

install codelite on *any* computer (for example on: C:\Program Files\CodeLite\)
Copy the entire C:\Program Files\CodeLite\ directory to your USB stick - and you are done.

From now on, you can start CodeLite from within that directory.

HTH,
Eran

Hi eranif
Sorry for my poor english, I have not expressed my view clearly in the first post. What i really want to ask is could you make a version that can be installed by a normal accout (not administrator) on windows. So , we need not install it in one computer and then copy to another.

I know the request is a bit inordinate. But , as i said in the first post, i do't have sufficient priviledge on the computer which belong to my company , so i need a "normal" version.

Of cource , this request has very very low priority  .
Thanks!

Ok, I got it now. It appears that the installer requires admin privileges.

I uploaded a self contained tar.7z file (you will need 7-zip to extract it)

You can download it from here:
http://codelite.org/download/CodeLite.7z

Just download and extract.

Hi eranif, I encountered one issue.
When i clicked "Re-Tag File" in the context menu, codelite crashed. I have tried for several times, it always crashed.
Attachment is the screenshot.

I wish this can help you to improve codelite.

PS. I use the .7z version in the preview post on windows xp sp2.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thanks for reporting this. the crash is because you dont have a workspace open.
Re-Tag file has no meaning and should be disabled if there is no workspace open. I will fix this asap.
