Doxygen function comments dont work

hi,

What can I do/check, if /** does not expand to a doxygen comment above a function? I suffer from this behaviour on linux and windows on differente computers...

Win is 10/7, Linux is Archlinux (build from source)
Version is 12.x (both stable and beta)
if needed I can provide a more detailed compilation

Usually is just works, I will need to as an example of the source code to better understand why it fails
