Using Codelite with a german wireless keyboard on Mac OS X

Hello,
for me and my fingers it is a very hard job to interact with codelite on the Mac Book Pro. The Keys Ctrl and Cmd are together for codelite, but it does not work in practice.

So for many simple things I get no shortcuts. Is there any possibility for me to change something?

Have you tried changing some of the shortcuts from settings->keyboard shortcuts?

Yes, but I cannot really make changes, because I cannot separate between Cmd and Ctrl and because there are too many shortcuts at all (together with OS X).
