Bit confused :?

Running on Windows 7 or 8 64-bit

If I install "codelite-5.2-mingw4.7.1.exe", should I also install "wxwidgets-295-tdm-gcc-471-32-devel.exe"?

Thanks, Colin

Notice that we no longer provide an installer that bundles wxWidgets. Instead, there is a separate installer for this purpose "wxwidgets-295-tdm-gcc-471-32-devel.exe"
If you wish to try wxWidgets 295 you can install it using the installer that we provided, you can also choose to use 294 (there is an installer for it as well)

codelite does not require the wxWidgets installer - its an extra we provide for wxWidgets users (or for users who wishes to build codelite from git head)

Very nice, thanks for the release Eran!

Could you please update the Windozer download section please. I was a bit confused at first. :D But now it's clear.

Hi Eran,

is there any MAC version of CL 5.2. The latest 5.1 was almost unusable on OSX 10.7.4

Best regards

Not really. I am having problems with my mac build machine
I am aware of the fact that we don't have a mac build for 5.2, hopefully this will be fixed soon

Hi Eran,

thanks for the MAC build, but unfortunately it crashes on start on OSX 10.7.4 :(
I can not update to 10.8 at the moment so I'll try to build it myself from git.
Could you tell me what configuration you used to build wxWidgets on 10.8, carbon or cocoa?

Best regards

Frank

Cocoa. Note that you will need wx295 to build trunk. So I suggest you do :
git clone <codelite URL >

Followed by:
Git checkout tags/5.2

5.2 requires wx294 and Atm is more stable than trunk
