SDL // wxWidgets?

Okay, as stupid as this sounds, I'm completely incapable of using this right now.
I've been working a bit with SDL lately, mainly because that's my preferred direction in C++, however when trying to compile i get issues about not found header files. It looks like it knows SDL is there, but just can't find the headers. I don't have them in my actual programming directory, and I remember compiling them.
Thoughts?
