How come codelite doesn't detect Microsoft c++ compiler "cl.exe"?

Its because installing them is not an easy task...
We excel with Open source tools, less with closed tools.
Most of CodeLite's MSVC compilers support was contributed, so I can't really help you there
Make sure you have read the HOW TO POST thread
