Re: CodeLite and wxWidgets 3.0
Thank you for the post....I looked, but obviously I missed it! <getting old sucks>
And thank you for updating Codelite.
I'm an older guy (56), and I've got a big project I need to port from Windows to Linux...I am after the improved string handling in wxWidgets 3. This application is heavy PostgreSQL, and most of my work is string related (a sales/bidding package). So wxWidgets 3 became important to me as I don't have a lot of time invested in the project yet, I just got greenlighted about onw week ago. And working with strings in any previous version of wxWidgets, was...well....cumbersome and time consuming to deal with the unicode/UTF-8 stuff.
Regarding how to post....I had removed the Codelite package from my system (Arch Linux) because I needed the newer wxWidgets version, so I don't have version info to post (other than the GCC version I guess).
I apologize if I upset you. It certainly wasn't my intention.
Again, I appreciate your assistance,
Sincerly and respectfully,
Dave

Re: [SOLVED] CodeLite and wxWidgets 3.0
We have older people on the this forumI'm an older guy (56)
You did not. I post this sentence to every person on the forum who posts questions without relevant information (codelite version, OS etc), anyways, I am not upset and not even close to it.dcbdbis wrote:I apologize if I upset you. It certainly wasn't my intention
My native language is _not_ english so you might got the feeling that I am upset for this fact
