I thought it should be disabled by default... probably missed that
Settings -> Build Settings -> Build output appearance -> Compiler errors / warnings displayed inline

I sometime find warnings a bit annoying, as warning and errors are treated same way, so most of the time I have my inline message disabled or I change warning level during compilation.
