Does CL 4.0.5589 still have the Dark Theme?

Under Settings>Syntax Highlight and Fonts>Colouring Scheme, there used to be a Dark Theme choice in addition to the Default choice.
In 4.0.5589, I see only the Default choice in the drop down menu.

Has the Dark Theme choice been deleted from this release?

No it was not deleted.

If you dont see it, it means that for some reason your settings got corrupted.
To restore them, open the 'Syntax Highlight' dialog and click the 'Defaults' button and approve the confirmation dialog
