Hi,
I just downloaded latest codelite 6 in chrome and received a scary 'this software is not commonly downloaded and could be dangerous' warning, followed be a 'keep malware?' dialog if you choose to save it. Yikes!
Pretty sure there's nothing to be worried about here, but...should I be worried?!? I don't recall ever seeing this warning before, yet google search indicate it's been around for a while.
Bye!
Mark

Re: codelite 6 malware warning in chrome
This is because the downloaded file is of type .exe ( this is why previouse releases were 7-zip )
Once other people will start downloading it, this stupid warning will go away.
Sigh, chrome and internet explorer decided that they will save users by putting this message, what they are actually doing is killing any small developers that want to publish their software without using any intermediate sites like sourceforge etc
