whats the problem with the screenshot? did you try placing some controls? the way I see it you only have empty page - which is what the preview shows

No, the Notebook pages are not empty. Its that I forgot to expand the tree.
The Notebook pages have widgets in them and the "generate code" generates it just fine. only thing I cannot do is preview it.

What happens when you select the 'm_logPage' does it still show a blank page?

Yes. Every other thing (properties, sizer toolbar et al) changes except preview

No, it will not prevent from displaying them, only adding new items of "advanced" controls

Thats why I suspected I need to reset something.
