Probably can't help you much except,

You can start with building and installing codelite from sources. This is typically not hard, I can say that cause I've done it. If you run into issues post your problem, someone will help.
Edit: I take this back, might just have to install codelite and monkey with the translation files.

I have no much idea how the translation stuff works except it's probably a wxwidgets thing. Edit: Poking around on github results in this.

This appears like something a native language speaker could edit. Since it's recent (18 days old) all the strings should match the current version of codelite.

Might also bug one of the other people that has done translation work for pointers. Like the guy that recently submitted the Chinese translation.

Also try using the github issue tracker etc to push your changes etc. Bug/issue reports and pull requests get paid attention too, stuff posted to the forum gets lost. Probably why there is no italian translation even though there is a patch on the forum.
