Discripency between Find What in Find & Replace Dialogs

Hi,

I wanted to replace " " with " " (double space with Single space).

I opened Replace Dialog & entered double space for Find what input & single space for Replace with input. When i clicked on Replace / Replace All, i got a message as 'Find What is empty'. Strangly when i opened a Find window & click on Find Next (Find window & Replace window share same Find What keyword), I was able to search for doublw Spaces. Seems a Bug.

I am not sure whether its actuall a bug or i shld try something else.
