Tabs tab bug?

I'm not sure if this place is right for a bug report but I couldn't access the official page. I'm not sure if it is a bug or feature but I like to mention it. In the Workspace View: The Tabs tab is supposed to hold the opened tabs. In the general menu one can set the max. number which are allowed to be open. In the editor area there is this small arrow which is pointing downwards. With that you can select the tabs too. If you create new files with CTRL+N new tabs are opened of course but you can not select them in the Tabs tab, either directly or with the small arrow. I don't know if this is important or not but the behavior is different than it should be i guess. I have the feeling that the Tabs tab selection is working fine with saved files, or files which are registered in the workspace. But as I told you it is selectable with the small arrow. It would be nice if they can be selected in the Tabs tab windows too.
