Random suggestion since I've been bit a few times by this.
I've noticed that when codelite is left running, and the power goes out, the codelite.xml file tends to gets corrupted and the codelite fails silently on startup leaving behind the following in the codelite.log file.
[ 15:40:32:568 ERR ] Failed to load configuration file: C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeLite/config/codelite.xml
Just deleting codelite.xml in
C:\Users\Gibbon\AppData\Roaming\CodeLite\config\codelite.xml
Appears to fix.
Seems there are two issues, one the config.xml file gets hosed if codelite doesn't exit nicely. If the file is hosed the codelite exits without giving a naive user any idea what's wrong.
PS: See attached 'bad config' xml file, if interested.
