Hi all,
Just wanted to express my appreciation and enjoyment using CodeLite.
I just started to use it and it is really fun IDE. I've been searching a long time for a good lightweight C++ IDE for Linux.
I used many of them over the years: Emacs, vi, gvim, Kate, Kdevelop, VisualSlick, Eclipse CDT, etc, None of them is half as fun and productive as CodeLite.
Keep up the great work!
Gabi

Hi Gabi,
I'm not CL developer but apart from CL, codeblock comes close with simplicity. IMHO KDevelop and many bunch of IDE there (Including MSVC) are too complex and I see them as overkill. CL allows you to use both basics and complex stuff with minima difficulty. That being said, CL beats CB on flexibility among other strength.
These two IDEs should continue (to challenge one another) for them to mature more than they are.
To be honest CL future is bright as replacement to MSVC/KDevelop and I encourage Dev team to keep it up!
With that said, and since you are also in Israel, could you visit Eran and give him a cup of coffee

Interesting, I will try CB too sometime, but I am very happy with CL.
Sure, I would pay him a visit and buy him a cup of coffee. He sure deserves it. Where is his contact info ?

PM him.
I used to CB. MSVC didn't convince me with all its beauty of complexity. Then I tried CL. In the beginning I dismissed it.
Then I reconsidered it. And from there everything changed. I uninstalled my beloved CB and CL was in
CB is great IDE. It happened CL is one I want

KDevelop and CodeBlock keeps crashing on my Ubuntu x64.
The Netbean and Eclipse are stable, but keep freeze up even with 6GB memory.
Congratulations for writing a fast and stable IDE!
