META: Forum Feature Request

Hi,

I apologize for posting this here, but there doesn't seem to be a meta forum / topic, so here we go.

There doesn't seem to be a way to format code as an inline element rather than a block element (in HTML terms). E.g. "Here is some information about FooBarClass, which you should use to solve all your problems." I cannot make "FooBarClass" formatted in monospaced font without it having an entire block to itself (with [code]...[/code]). I've seen other places support [inline] or [c] to do an inline monospace. Is there already anything here that will do it?
