invisible buttons on detached dialogs

I'm not sure if this is a problem with CL or if it's a problem with my window manager, but on Linux (Mint 16 Petra) the close button (and any other buttons that might be on there) on these dialogs are not visible. I've attached a screenshot of the Locals window with this issue. You can still click it, it's just not visible.
