Running CodeLite in Win32 coLinux

Post by wwashington »

coLinux is a very fast/productive virtual machine to run native Linux in Win32 desktop.
People can install coLinux with Debian/Fedora/Gentoo and some other Linux over Win-7.
You can install a VNC in Linux and connect it via VNC Viewer, works like Remote Server.
It's a pity that the offical kernel(vmlinux + modules) don't support CONFIG_DEVTMPFS=y.
This will make Linux hangup on boot for a high version udev(hotplug) service. Below is
the picture. I tried to find one but failed, I had to build one myself. Share with you.

--- Release Notes ---

Purpose: Linux 2.6.33.7 CONFIG_DEVTMPFS=y to support udev-20X.
Notices: Run rm -Rf /lib/modules/2* and Reboot to take effect.
Built by Wwashington@NewSmth. Replace the coLinux 0.7.9 files.
