wxWidgets project Help !

Post by Biggy » Fri Sep 20, 2019 1:24 am

Hi. I'm trying to run wxwidgets project and I get this on Build :

Code: Select all

C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /C C:/mingw64/bin/mingw32-make.exe -j16 SHELL=cmd.exe -e -f  Makefile
"----------Building project:[ guiprova - Debug ]----------"
wx-config Warning: Multiple compiled configurations of wxWidgets have been detected.
Using first detected version by default.

Please use the --wxcfg flag (as in wx-config --wxcfg=gcc_dll/mswud)
or set the environment variable WXCFG (as in WXCFG=gcc_dll/mswud)
to specify which configuration exactly you want to use.
What I'm doing wrong here ? Please help me as I am new to wxwidgets.
Thank you.

wx-config needs to know which version of wxWidgets you are using.
In order to do that, set 2 environment variables (Settings->Environment variables):

Code: Select all

WXWIN=/path/to/wxWidgets
WXCFG=gcc_dll\mswu
Note: if you built wxWingets in different configuration, like static lib, then set it like this:

Code: Select all

WXWIN=/path/to/wxWidgets
WXCFG=gcc_lib\mswu
Make sure you have read the HOW TO POST thread

Thank you for replay @eranif. I had done that setting 2 Environment variables in Codelite and I got the same result.
I solve my problem adding Environment Variable under Windows Under the 'User variables' section in my case:

Code: Select all

C:\wxwidgets312
and path :

Code: Select all

C:\wxwidgets312\lib\gcc_dll
I hope this helps someone who run in the same situation. :)
